Pinhooker Pty Ltd, also operating as Collector Wines Pty Ltd, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual in a casual role to assist with vineyard operations over the growing season. Work in the winery will also be required. There is the opportunity for this role to extend over the harvest season, for the right applicant.

The role will be hands on and physical, involving all tasks associated with grape production, including shoot-training, shoot-thinning and de-suckering, floor management, canopy management, irrigation, spraying and crop protection. Work in the winery will include daily cellar operations including rackings, transfers and additions, maintaining safety, hygiene and cleanliness and other work as directed.

The winery and vineyards are around 20-60mins from Canberra. We recommend the successful applicant finds accommodation in Canberra. Your own car is essential.

Experience in the wine industry is essential. Experience maintaining, operating and servicing machinery is highly desirable.

You will need the ability to work flexible hours, to suit weather conditions with spray programs and irrigation as required. You will be positive, team-oriented, prioritise good communication, and take a sense of pride in your work.
