Our client, a successful top-tier Australian wine producer, is seeking to appoint an experienced General Manager-Export to develop and execute all sales and marketing plans for key clients across North America, Europe, UK, China and New Zealand.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced export manager who understands how to build strong sales across multiple export channels and work effectively with international distributors and key team members.
The successful candidate will come from a wine, food or luxury goods export sales background and will have a proven sales growth history, be a good communicator and commercially astute, with the drive and knowledge to open new customer channels.
This person will have solid experience in structuring sales teams for maximum performance and understand growth triggers in each region.They will be experienced in managing a P&L, budgeting and overseeing compliance of a wine, beverage, retail or food operation.
Reporting to the Managing Director, with 5 direct reports,you will be a passionate,empathetic sales leader, with a demonstrated ability in motivating and building teams.
